BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW
I missed my day, completely today
But I would not , tomorrow
For the days are mine, world is mine
All the life is totally mine
I missed my fortune, all way today
But I would not, tomorrow
For luck can't be bad everyday
leaving just pains totally my way
I missed my path, totally today
But I would not, tomorrow
For I would reach back the right way
Making my path clear by today
I missed my soul,somewhere today
But I would not, tomorrow
For I would start my life afresh
Fragrancing my soul in every possible way
I missed my everything, only today
But I would surely not,tomorrow
Though tomorrow might not be my day
My little hope lets me live my life this way..

Something To Ponder
I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice!
Next to him was my old neighbour
Who never said anything nice.
The person who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.
I nudged God, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.
'And why's everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'
As I entered Heaven's door,

माँ-बाप का साया
वह हाथ जो पोंछते थे आंसूं मेरे,
मिट जाते थे ग़म जिनकी दुआओं के असर से,
ढूंढते हैं वो काँधे, रोती थी आँख जिन पर,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
ऊँगली पकड़ कर चलना, हजार ख्वाहिशें करना,
गुजरती थी उनकी ज़िन्दगी, हमारे ही डगर से,
याद आती है वो बातें, दिल रोता है आह अक्सर,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
वह रूठना हमारा, वह आंसुएँ बहाना,
पूरी होती थी ख्वाहिशे, हमारे इस असर से,
बाग़ आते हैं याद, चुभते हैं कांटे अक्सर,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
दिल तोडना ना उनका ना तकलीफ कभी देना,
निकालना है तुम्हें ही उन्हें अश्कों के सहर से,
यतीमों को देखो उन्हें जा कर समझो,
क्या होता है तब,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
वह धुंधली सी आँखें वह मासूम सा चेहरा,
यतीमों को देखोगे जब तुम उनकी नजर से,
समझ जाओगे आह तुम भी, क्या होता है तब,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
एहसास-ए-इल्तेजा है, एक बात मेरी मानो,
अपना आशियाना बनाना, उनकी मोहब्बतों की असर से,
बहुत तकलीफ होती है, होता है काश होंठो पे अक्सर,
माँ-बाप का साया जब उठ जाता है सर से!
